Ky-Mani along with Praswell (Fugees), collaborated on a classic cover of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue". As Ky-Mani took the stage at Midem which is an international music festival which was held in Miami for its first time, the extent of his power was obvious. Ky-Mani delivered a lively set for the full Cameo Theatre that was full of people. Live broadcasts were made through CANA (Caribbean News Agency) and was broadcast to over 36 different countries. Ky-mani is making the sixth studio album of his career, which showcases his personal growth and showing the dual nature of his personalities Ky-mani and Maestro. It is a urban sound which has its roots in hip-hop and reggae. This album will be a refreshing departure from the usual synth pop that is associated with the genre, and will instead provide a true representation of urban hip-hop and reggae fusion. The artist released his newest single "New Heights" on March 3, 2011.
