Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai MMA fighter from Peru, and mixed martial arts artist fighting for in the UFC at the flyweight division,, is a Kyrgyzstani. She's older than her fellow UFC Fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her professional fight career during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina kept her winning streak going by winning a silver and bronze medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, a Gold medal in 2011 along with the title of 2015 IFMA amateur world champion. Antonia has started her professional career at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and 2016 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. In 2016, the WMC World Championships also held in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonina's last fight was at the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She won via unanimous verdict. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut was in 2002, at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She took the win by second round TKO and also won her subsequent 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003 to amass the record of three-three. Shevchenko was a dedicated kickboxer as she took a prolonged absence from MMA. She was back to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko had the chance to beat Anissa by a majority vote and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. She resigned from the organization and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's superior strike skills enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut UFC at The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight, after prevailing in the initial bout by a unanimous decision. Antonina recovered from this defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. She was awarded the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko was 1-2 over her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski and lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. In the past, Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
