Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress who was born in Berkeley on October 1, 1996. She is an actress, famous by her roles in Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into an actor's family as well as filmmakers, both of which she's been pursuing. Her first film came out when she was only 9 years young in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she had the leading role in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo, and was in the ensemble of The Church directed by Michele Soavi. In the year following, she played Nanni Moritti's child as a child in Red Wood Pigeon. Her profession took off after she got the part of Nanni's little girl in Close Friends. Cannes International Film Festival received the film well. She worked with her father for the first time in Trauma which was directed by the acclaimed Italian horror filmmaker Dario Argento. The mother of her, Daria Nicoleli, is the most adored actress of Argento, and she played an anorexic seeking to locate the killer of her parents. Asia's intense, absorbed performance style was put to good use in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato nozze. The actress co-starred alongside Carlo Verdone in Perdiamoci di vista as Arianna the girl who is physically disabled. The intricate and challenging role won her a David di Donatello Award for the Best actress. The role she played was in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli in which she was awarded a David di Donatello and the Grolla d'oro. Asia started acting as a profession in 1994, and made two shorts and an episode from De Generazione. The following year, 1996, Asia made a document about her father. Then, in 1998, Asia made a feature film on Abel Ferrara (AbelAsia), that was awarded an award by the Rome Film Festival. Asia's feature directing debut was Scarlet Diva where she was the main actress and wrote the screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 both in Italy in addition to all over the world. The film was awarded an award during the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York.
